With so much fantasy baseball content having migrated online, it is really hard to put anything innovative or insightful to paper. While I applaud the authors' effort to do so, this is only a fair effort.First, the print edition suffers from shoddy proofreading and printing. Just the quality of the book itself, is poor. Misprints, font switches, weird random stuff.Second, the strategies endorsed are mainly imported from fantasy football drafts. They may have application to baseball draft formats. However not very helpful for auction formats at all. A high emphasis is on their “RPV” calculation which looks to me like as if it is useful only for comparing players who play the same position, and only for drafts. In short I am fairly sure it is borderline useless. If a RPV 51 catcher (Posey) is taken 2-3 rounds after a RPV 22 OF (Trout), what good is that?I am not a DFS player. That chapter was very interesting to me as a newb but cannot say how good it would be for an experienced DFS player.Lastly the player write ups are of uneven quality. I found the pitchers to be quite good, the hitters less helpful. Maybe because the RPV number has some use within the pitcher universe. They do not dive very deeply into the player pool either, so it is not a good book if you are searching for sleepers or prospects. I see the price has been reduced which is great, but since I am a single league, auction format player, I would not purchase again.

I play money fantasy baseball every year and felt my strategies had become a little stagnant. I decided to read this book last season and had my best season I had in a few years, a wire to wire first place finish which culminated in a league championship. This book was a great tool heading into the draft. Granted, you still have to manage your team and make smart moves during the season but this gives you a rock solid base to work off of. Anyone looking for a serious leg up on the competition should purchase this book.

Really enjoyed the Black Book! It holds a lot of great direction for how to look at Fantasy Baseball in a whole new light! I loved the section regarding RPV as well as the player breakdowns. It was great to pick up on some tips for monitoring players and strategies for trades. I would highly suggest reading this book, and I would specifically advise you to ordering the Paperback version. While the Kindle version is immediate and slightly cheaper, I found myself dissatisfied with the format of the rankings on my computer and phone screens. I will place an order for the Paperback version next year. One last thing, I also really appreciated Joe’s willingness to engage with his readers and other fantasy players online in Facebook Live sessions. He’s a standup guy. Best of luck in your season!

Informative, entertaining and always a great read! Joe has once again delivered another edition of fantasy gold! Or black! Highly recommend checking this book out if you've never read the black book.

Checking this out for the first time.I play seasonal Fantasy Baseball, but play Daily Fantasy Baseball for large amounts of money and Sammy Reid is one of the smart Baseball DFS people that other smart DFS people listen to.Excited to give this a read.

The player profiles are excellent and consiseThe explanation of relative player value is so simple and yet so genius. The coverage of the current mlb season to come in 2018 and prospects that will not surface until 2022 is phenomenalAlso covers DFS strategy which is coolUltimately - this is the best there is out there and I will return to it over and over in my keeper league auction preparation.

Ever ask, "Do i draft a 2nd Tier 2B, a 3rd Tier OF or a 3rd/4th Tier SP?" This shows players values not only among their own position but across positions. It compares people, has added commentary on many players from leading industry guys AND discusses how players are valued in different league formats. I'm skeptical to write this because i dont want my league mates to know. 16 tm hxh, 3rd year playing. 2nd place last year, currently 1st as i write this. Thanks, Joe!

Really like this book and am intrigued by the RPV system he proposes. Also, what I like the most is that Pisapia recognizes that pitching is very valuable in total points leagues. This is a dynamic that is very much undervalued by most experts in the field. Great addition to your pre-draft resources.

My 7 year old loves The Boxcar Children Books. She finished this book in about four hours. She loved it, and read it straight through hardly taking a break for anything. This is an amazing mystery book with a great plot. The Alden children are able to figure out who is tampering with Katya’s chances of winning the gymnastics competition.

My son loved reading this book. So glad it was available on the Kindle and at a great price! Thanks!

Perfect gift for an avid reader who is also a gymnast! She was so excited to receive this book as a gift.

Excellent mystery story for young teens. Great characters and good story line.

I love the Boxcar Children books. I am trying to collect them all. When you read these books it is like being there with the children. Always a great story and they are good for the young and old alike.

This is a great book series! My 9 year old niece was overjoyed to get them and sat down after opening all her gifts and read for the rest of the night!

I myself enjoyed the boxcar children. They were written some time ago but they capture my interest very quick. I can read a whole book in one night! The book really pulled me in because I have a strong love for gymnastics. Enjoy!

My 9 year old loves the boxcar children. A quick read chapter book but keeps her occupied for 30 minutes and great stories for her age group! I will keep buying them!
