Everything they taught us was a theoretical view, for example, on lean manufacturing, Kaizen, six-sigma, etc. However, this book is more practical and teaches you how to apply it in real life. I would most definitely recommend this book to any one interested in Lean Supply Chain Management.

I really like her writing style; concise and powerful in its brevity; but with such precise detail that you feel like you are there with her. The Happening is the story of an illicit abortion she had as a young woman, before abortion was legal. If nothing else, it is an important historical document of what women faced during that time period and lends weight and support, in graphic detail, to the absolute necessity of safe, legal abortion. But the funny thing is that this message is conveyed without the author ever mentioning it once.

I enjoy reading, and often get in slumps where books are too much alike or they don't have a spark that makes me want to continue reading. This is not one of those. There are a few writers that I truly enjoy to read, and each book I read I become engrossed in each intricate story. This story line was amazing and was sooooo unlike other books I have read.The author does a great job of snagging your undivided attention. Then at 3am you notice you should probably put it down for a bit.The main characters are well thought out and nicely rounded. The writing is so well done that you don't have to question what the lead is thinking.This book has the right amount of romance, and it doesn't overflow so much that the story gets lost behind the overwhelming love scenes. All in all a perfect balance.Great job and I can't wait to read more.

This novel dealing with life after and with the supernatural realm is wonderfully captivating and fascinating (and I wish I could think of more adjectives)! Although it's not meant to be theologically correct, it IS very well-written and very well-developed, weaving the spiritual realm together with the physical realm. I can’t begin to share all of my favorite quotes – some which make me laugh, like: “Are you kidding? They sent me a celestial babysitter?” And, “He should not be allowed to be dead with those eyes.” Then there are lines that speak so deeply, like: “ It was then that I became ashamed to look up at the God I’d forgotten along with the rest of my life.” And: “I was ashamed when time and time again that He went unthanked – that the blessings He gave me went unappreciated…”It. Is. So. Well. Done!!! "A good book makes you want to live in the story. A great book gives you no choice." This book gives you no choice!!! I have now read it twice, reading the ARC copy of the new edition, and I enjoyed this book even more the second time!I have fallen in love with Audrey and Logan, and many of the other characters in this story! And I can't WAIT to read the next part of this series.This is a must read for adults, as well as youth. This is my own free honest review, and I also chose to buy a copy of this new edition because this cover is so gorgeous!!

I wish I didn’t take so long to start this series! It starts out very intriguing and leaves you begging to know answers. The first half was a little slow here and there for me, just with the overload of descriptions going on, but at the same time they are understood since there is a whole new world being created for the readers. However once that second half hits, it grips you and does not let go all the way to the end until you’re breathless and left begging for more.I love that this is a perfect example of how an author can still have an absolutely amazing book without cursing or vulgarity. I already cannot wait to read “Logan” but I know it’s book 2.5 so I will frustratingly wait to read that until after book 2. I desperately need to know what is inside his head!I did find myself a little disappointed when she finally recovered her memories though. I was kinda hoping that when it happened it would be more of a shocking revelation like puzzle pieces fitting together, but really the only thing that was really discovered was how she died and the relationship of a significant character that I had already figured out. There are just so many questions about this world and her role in it that I just greedily wanted every answer answered already in the first book 😂 I think I was just secretly hoping she was some super secret ninja warrior or something in a past life that would explain her role now. Hey! When a reader doesn’t have answers, we concoct some super strange theories while trying to figure them out! Don’t judge me! 😂This was such a deliciously fun read though and I loved all of the biblical references. I was giddily like, “Ooh I know that!” way too many times to count. I just cannot wait to read the next one. I’m hoping to be all caught up before the third book releases in 6 days. Whoo hoo!
