I gave this to my husband as a Christmas gift along with 3 different size mugs. He is quite the "concocter" in the kitchen, and I knew he would love it to fix himself a variety of fast and healthy meals while I was busy doing other things. Yes - he did love it, so we will see what he chooses to make. One of the best mug meals cookbooks out there in my opinion.
Got this as a gift for a college student. Feedback includes: needs more spices in his pantry (granted he's just a salt and pepper kind of kid right now, doesn't have rosemary apparently), he likes the techniques shown in the book, thinks he'll use it more when he fills in his pantry a little.
Good recipes but some tend to be on the small side as far as servings. I usually have to supplement with something else like rolls, fruit, salad, etc. These recipes are good for quick single serving meals. Since I cook only for me, I waste less food and don't have to eat the same thing all week. Great for college students, singles and quick lunches.
Had a lot of trouble my first year of college with the dining halls hours and lack of choices with food. This book has enough easy-looking recipes to change that this year! Plus it'll definitely be cheaper than all the take out I ordered lol
The recipes look absolutely delicious but I bought this book thinking it would be ingredients I'd have on hand in a dorm room. Kind of the point of a microwave meal. The meals seem complex but once I move out of my small dorm room I think I can tackle them.
Some of these recipes are good just as good as regular recipes, even though most are cooked in the microwave.
Gave the book away. Would need to buy too much stuff. Might as well use a regular cookbook. Cute Item though maybe for a leaner cook or young person.
I have made most of these recipes, and several are now regulars on my menu. I'm so glad I bought this book after a friend brought me a sample -- Chocolate Muffin
